This is an 8 x 10 Heather started last night on a gallery wrap canvas. Good values laid down for a starting point. I think I will teach her a new technique...painting that barn with a painting knife.

Lots of glare on this student's finshed one but can't retake. You can see her improvements with each one completed. This one is a a 11 x 14 on canvas.

you can critique her hands if you want, but remember this is just a first pass and I see lots of shaping fixes. Do you think that little shade of grey in her eyes is enough to indicate roundness?

Saved the hardest for last...those hands. Not sure I'll make them real detailed...not wanting to take focus from her face.
